Mtv ha annunciato le nomination per gli MTV EMAs 2019 che si terranno presso il FIBES – Centro Fiere e Congressi di Siviglia, Spagna – il prossimo 3 novembre 2019. Per dare la notizia, l’emittente ha utilizzato dei video in cui apparivano le facce dei “nominati” sulla schiuma del famoso caffè spagnolo “cortado”.
La kermesse musicale verrà trasmessa in diretta globale, in oltre 180 paesi e territori, sui di networks MTV. In Italia andrà in onda su MTV (Sky, canale 130) alle ore 20.00. Si partirà con il Red Carpet Show per poi, alle 21.00 passare al Main Show. Per chi non fosse comodamente seduto sul divano di casa, sarà disponibile lo streaming su NOW TV.
Le votazioni invece continueranno fino alle 23.59 del 2 novembre sul sito ufficiale.
Gli artisti internazionali
Ariana Grande sembra essere in assoluto la regina degli EMAs con ben 7 nomination (Best Artist, Best Video, Best Song…). Per la prima volta, compaiono anche Lil Nas X e Billie Eilish con 6 nomination ciascuno. J Balvin se ne porta a casa 5. Si scende a 4 nomination per Lizzo e la reginetta del pop Taylor Swift.
Nessuna sorpresa per quanto riguarda il Best Local Act in cui trionfano: Ariana Grande (US), Taylor Swift (US), Ed Sheeran (UK & Ireland), Shawn Mendes (Canada).
Gli artisti italiani: Best Italian Act
Per il Best Italian Act gli artisti nominati sono: Coez, Elodie, Mahmood, Salmo ed… Elettra Lamborghini!
MTV Italia anche quest’anno ha dato la possibilità al pubblico di scegliere il quinto artista in nomination per il Best Italian Act tramite la Wild Card. La rosa di 5 nomi comprendeva Achille Lauro, Boomdabash, Elettra Lamboghini, Irama e Ultimo. A vincere, grazie ad una votazione avvenuta via Instagram stories, è stata Elettra Lamborghini.
